Department of Radio-Diagnosis
The Department of Radiology at GMC Latur is exceptionally renowned for its patient service, teaching and research activities. The department offers extensive diagnostic imaging services as well as body and interventional procedures.
With the expertise and vast experience of our faculty members and dedication of resident doctors, the department strives for excellence in patient care, teaching and research.
We cater to the needs of a large number of patients belonging to the city as well as those hailing from surrounding cities and villages. An astonishing volume of imaging studies is performed in the department.
Exposure to a wide variety of pathologies, along with didactic teaching of the residents makes our radiology residency program highly coveted and we pride ourselves in producing excellent radiologists.
The department has a very active teaching schedule for residents with excellent academic programme enabling them to excel in the field of radiology

The department profile
The Post graduate course in radiology was started in the year 2011 with
one MD and one DMRD Seat. The seats have been increased to 4 MD and 1 DMRD seats recently. The institute has been producing 100% result since the inception of the course due to its well structured academic programme.
